Hello and welcome to AC Counseling! I'm a dedicated private practice therapist originally from Pennsylvania, now rooted in Massachusetts. With a passion for mental health and a commitment to supporting individuals through life's challenges, I bring years of experience and a compassionate approach to my practice. My journey into the field of social work began with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Art & Art History. Following graduation, I dedicated two impactful years to AmeriCorps in Philadelphia, where my passion for supporting individuals and advocating for social justice issues crystalized. This experience led me to pursue further education, and I earned my Masters of Social Work from Boston College in 2019. Since then, I've been privileged to work as an inpatient social worker, honing my skills and deepening my understanding of all the ways mental health can present itself. Alongside my private practice, I continue to work as the Lead Social Worker at McLean Hospital's general inpatient unit. As your therapist, I am committed to working together to process the experiences that are personal to you and supporting you to build healthy coping skills to manage life's stressors.
